Micronel stands for decades of experience plus tradition, vision, and innovation in airflow and thermal engineering. Micronel AG was founded in Tagelswangen, near Zurich, Switzerland by Peter Meier Senior on 17 January 1968. The name MICRONEL is composed of MICRON (smallest) and EL (electronics)

As a family run company, Micronel have had 40+ years of solid and steady growth which has made us a worldwide leading manufacturer of fans and blowers.

Some of the Micronel achievements over the past 40+ years include:

• Micronel produced the world's thinnest fan and was the first company to market ultra-slim fans.
• Micronel blowers have travelled to outer space on the Space Shuttle Discovery and International Space Station.
• Micronel designed the two filter respirator PAPR C420 - over 50,000 in use by Armies and Police worldwide.
• Micronel developed ASIC motor drivers in-house to make long life brushless fans easy to use.
• Micronel pioneered the ultra-small high-pressure blower series for the medical industry.
• Micronel introduced the worlds smallest and lightest inline blower (the C012 for personal protection and respirators).
• Micronel developed unique oxygen-resistant two-stage - high pressure U51 radial blowers.

Micronel UK:

Micronel has formed Micronel UK Ltd to strengthen our service and support to customers in the UK market.

Micronel UK has been operational from January 2nd 2009.

The new facility will enable Micronel to offer UK customers the widest choice of standard ultra-slim fans, axial fans and high pressure radial blowers from local stock plus the ability to provide close technical design support for modified-standard products and client specific designs to improve service and time to market.
