Micronel exhibited at the COMPAMED exhibition at the Dusseldorf Messe alongside the MEDICA 2009 World Forum for Medicine.

Micronel demonstrated our very latest new products and high dynamic-high pressure-high airflow blowers for Medical applications.

Micronel were amongst the 5000 people running the Windsor Half Marathon on September 26th 2009. Peter Meier Jnr. (Micronel AG CEO) flew in to join John Roe (Micronel UK Managing Director) to take part in this years event in glorious sunshine.

Micronel UK will donate sponsorship from the run to Bliss the special care baby charity, which provides support and neonatal care to premature and sick babies. Commenting, John Roe UK MD said "Many of our medical blowers are used in specialist infant care applications particularly respirators and it seems fitting that we donate to Bliss who are dedicated to improving the survival and long-term quality of life for babies born too soon, too small or too sick to cope on their own."

Micronel has expanded the U51 blower series with the new "U51DL-Integrated".

The external diameter of this miniature blower is only Ø 50 mm but it reaches a static pressure of more than 4800 Pa, and over 500 l/min airflow in free air. This new product has integrated electronics for motor control and is extremely small and easy to use. No additional external control electronics are required.

Our dedicated Micronel UK subsidiary will greatly strengthen the service and support to UK fan and blower customers. The new facility will enable Micronel to offer UK customers the widest choice of standard ultra-slim fans, axial fans and high pressure radial blowers from local stock plus the ability to provide close technical design support for modified-standard products and client specific designs to improve service and time to market.

John Roe will head up this new UK operation as Managing Director. John has had over 15 years experience of fan and blower products gained through his activity both with Electrocomponents, where he managed the Emech and Connector Central Product Management team and the many years he spent previously as the Sales & Marketing Director at ACAL Radiatron.

New from Micronel comes a family of 4 new miniature high performance blowers that operate at exceptionally high pressures.

The smallest U51D1 blower is just a few mm bigger diameter than a golf ball but achieves an incredible static pressure of more than 3700 Pa (or 14 inches/H2O) and 450 l/min airflow.

The larger U51D2 blower is not much bigger, but employs a revolutionary two stage double impellor design to achieve an unparalled 8900 Pa (35 inches/H2O) and 600 l/min.

Micronel exhibited again at Electromica Trade Fair in Munich in November 2008. Micronel presented new products for the automotive and medical industries - particularly our new generation of high performance blowers.

For more than 40 years, Micronel AG has been renowned for miniature fans and blowers and the latest products F16, F17 and U16 exceed all expectations.

Three new ranges of micro-miniature fans and blowers from Micronel offer designers new versatility in spot cooling for a wide range of hand-held and other applications where space is limited. The Micronel F16, F17 and U16 ranges provide fans as small as 17 x 17 x 8mm and a near silent blower that is only 16 x 16 x 4.5mm, providing practical cooling for compact equipment or where air flow must be focused on critical components.

The new F40 fan brings together unique airflow management technology in one compact, high performance / ultra low noise unit - the patented meridian impellor maximises airflow, whilst the unique sleeve bearing design gives in excess of 40k hrs life (at 40 degC ambient) and both contribute to a very low noise level. The pcb motor design features a single Delta winding & single side construction means a reduction in the total number of components required, ensuring greater reliability and competitive cost.
